Pieter has well over 20 years experience in coal preparation & coal handling facility design.

In recent times Pieter has developed the EMA Group to become a leading organisation in the provision of engineering excellence to the coal and minerals processing industries.

    James Snedden

James Snedden has over 40 years experience in the Senior Management of coal mines in both open cut and underground mines. 

In 1994 he co-founded a specialized company utilising “Cutting Edge Technology” for the design, construction and operation of modular coal preparation plants in Australia and China. 

    Grant Fleming

One of the most experienced coal preparation engineers in Australia.  Grant has designed, constructed and commissioned state of the art coal preparation plants in Australia, China, Indonesia, South Africa and the U.S.

The designs that Grant has given to coal preparation have set benchmarks for plant designers for their low cost, high productivity and ease of erection.  Grant has advanced the design and operation of large diameter heavy medium cyclone plants greatly by presenting numerous papers and design courses.
